We did find the first SWAMP SPARROWS of the spring. 4 PALM WARBLERS were new arrivals. 11 GREEN WING TEAL were are good number by Howard standards. An EASTERN MEADOWLARK was a nice addition and 7 BUFFLEHEAD were unexpected on a small farm pond. A few HORNED LARKS still singing. Maybe the vespers will fly in tomorrow?
