There was an early movement of COMMON LOONS with 35 flyovers and a single bird remaining on the lake. Not many hawks but an OSPREY made an appearance. A single CASPIAN TERN and a few BONAPARTE'S GULLS were quick flyovers. Increasing numbers of both KINGLETS and a BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER on the wooded side. A SWAMP SPARROW on the island and a single female GREEN WING TEAL at the wildlife end. 49 species in all.
