What I found was two gulls with bright yellow bills and legs mixed in with the other pale-legged Ring-billeds. One was without a doubt a breeding adult Ring-billed Gull, and the other was Lesser Black-backed Gull. I spotted the LBBG first. It stood apart from the rest of the gulls; but joined them when they took flight. The back appeared to be a dark gray shade (a 60% black); while the primaries were darker. After three false starts it flew away with RBGUs as the human activity at the school picked up.
