I've observed RN Grebes in all counties but Caroline and Wicomico. I've been to Wicomico twice looking and have come up empty although conditions were terrible both times. I see no reason why these birds couldn't be viewed from Tyaskin, Bivalve, or Nanticoke. Caroline Co. is a little more tricky. Smithville Lake would be the obvious place but also along the Marshy Hope south of Federalsburg would be good. I think the Choptank flows way too fast around Tanyard, but south of Preston where Hunting Creek flows into the Choptank may be nice. Also viewing the Choptank from the Windy Hill Boat landing on the Talbot Co. side may be profitable.
