Vultures are not usually monitored at this site... 2. Washington Monument State Park is located appx 8 miles from (west of) exit 49 off I-70 west of Frederick city. Follow ALT-40 (old U.S. 40) through Middletown to a right turn on Monument Road at the top of South Mountain. Proceed appx another mile to park. Entrance fee is $2 per vehicle. 3. Paul agreed to let me post his observations on OSPREY from time to time... It will offer some idea of what's being seen there, but it will NOT be a comprehensive posting...
