Starting rather late at Roosevelt Island, we had a nice singing Pine Warbler, singing Winter Wren, Gnatcatcher, Phoebe, plus Barn and Tree Swallows but dipped on hoped-for Rusty Blackbirds. A few Caspian terns over the river, as well. Then to Fletcher's Boathouse, where we saw two lovely Yellow-throated warblers, and added a couple more Gnatcatchers and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, as well as Northern Roughwinged Swallows, plus two-three Bonaparte's Gulls. Again, no Rusty Blackbirds.
