It appears the red-necked grebe has finally departed. We did have a pair of LESSER SCAUP, 2 COMMON LOONS and RING-NECKED and RUDDY DUCKS. The first SPOTTED SANDPIPER was bobbing on the cement platform. A single BONAPARTE'S GULL sitting on the path. (odd!) CASPIAN TERNS flying back and forth. 50 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS singing like crazy. 2 PINE WARBLERS very actively feeding.
