We took a walk after dinner down Mill Hill Road, Waldorf, Charles Co., MD to the farm about 3/4 mile south. On our return a bird about 1/2 mile to the west started to sing. I mimicked, it stopped. Shortly after, a bird just to the right (east) side of the road cranked up. This is the possible nesting location from last year. We were away from the house so I can't list it as a yard, year bird yet. My favorite bird. Time to start the atlasing.
