Not as many migrants as expected after such a warm night (maybe they flew on) but we still tallied a nice lot of early species: 7-8 Palm Warblers (all yellow), 35-40 Myrtle Warblers, 12 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, 25 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, 7-8 Hermit Thrushes, 20 Chipping Sparrows with a singing Field Sparrow in the flock, 2 Brown Thrashers, 1 Merlin flying rapidly NE. The most active area was actually around the Nature Center and stable. Seen by others: 6 Common Loons overhead, 1 Blue-headed Vireo.
