However, the lack of sparrows dashed that hope. Centennial park still hosts a single RED-BREASTED MERGANSER. Have struck out twice on the night heron which was reported again yesterday. Went to Meadowbrook and tried to ignore the construction. There were a couple SAVANNAHS and a SWAMP. A MERLIN and HARRIER did promote the fall theory-but spring returned when I arrived home to a gorgeous RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD on my deck feeder.
