In-Reply-To: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Hey all, I've not seen one before so my ID is uncertain, but the Yellow Book suggests this is possible: I believe I saw a Blue-headed Vireo (formerly Solitary Vireo) along the wooded trail next to Lake Artemesia. It was with Carolina Chickadees, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and Yellow-rumped Warblers. The ID was based on the white spectacles, two wing bars, thick bill, and wash of yellow on the belly. Does this seem reasonable? Has anyone else seen a Blue-headed Vireo at Lake Artemesia recently?
