I was a bit taken aback by his claim, but he now hears or sees them almost every day. In the morning, he usually hears/sees them along the gravel access road under the power lines all the way from west of (across) Herbert's Run to the opposite end of the big pond, towards the dump. He's also found them in the area where you heard them, between the big pond and the river. He's taken several photos, which he just showed me tonight. Pheasants are now "Probable" in the Relay NE atlas block, and "Possible" in the Relay NW block.
