A SPOTTED SANDPIPER and 2 very visible WILSON'S SNIPE at the wildlife end. 8 BONAPARTE'S GULLS made a brief appearance as flyovers. 3 CASPIAN TERNS still working the lake. A WHITE-EYED and WARBLING VIREO staking out territories. Among the 50+ YELLOW-RUMPS were 2 YELLOWS and a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT. A single VEERY was my first for the year and a couple SAVANNAH SPARROWS were obvious migrants. At Font Hill I found a GREAT EGRET perched in a tree and a BLACK and WHITE WARBLER. A singing NORTHERN PARULA behind the house.
