I added eight other birds to my life list, so it was a great trip. Here's my question. How do you categorize a collared dove sighting? Clearly it's not a native bird, but like a house sparrow or ring-necked pheasant, it does live and breed in North America now. So, do most people count it as a new bird, even if I didn't see it in its original habitat (Europe)... Just curious how other folks handle this... -- Scott Michaud Arlington, VA _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
