If it is on the list, it = is thought to be a valid species. The tenancy of many species may be = questionable due to origin. But I think if it makes the list, it is = probably safe to justify it on your own personal life list. Its also = important to remember that your life list is yours to keep and nobody sets = the rules for it but you. I looked at the first link below and it appears = that its on the LA state checklist as an Introduced population. If I saw = it there, I'd certainly count it.
