While approaching, between 7:30-7:45 and getting dar= k, thought I'd heard a chimney swift. Once closer, and with the bird com= ing closer, realized that I was hearing a wren singing in the reeds that = sounded similar to a house wren, but higher pitched. My first thought wa= s marsh wren. I've never heard one before and didn't see the bird; belie= ve there were two. Has anyone encountered one recently? Location is the= Indian Creek Braided Stream area in Prince George's County, between Cher= rywood Lane and the Greenbelt Metro, just north of Greenbelt Road (193).
