He is also a preeminent nature writer, storyteller and birder, as well as founder of the "World Series of Birding" (an annual, 24-hour birding competition that raises thousands of dollars for bird conservation projects.). Mr. Dunne will launch the National Zoo's Bird Fest celebration with a public lecture and book signing on the evening of Thursday, April 24 in the Zoo's Visitor Center auditorium (book signing at 7:00, lecture at 8:00). The lecture is free, but please rsvp by calling 202-673-4801 or by sending an e-mail message to rsvp@nzp.si.edu. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PS. I hope this isn't considered off-topic. It is after all a human sighting not an avian one. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
