Belvoir > Howdy birders,I've been reading these emails from my son's computer and he finally convinced me to sign up on my own! I spent Sunday afternoon at Fort Belvoir (I know it's in Virginia, but I could see Maryland!). I'm sort of novice but recently bought new binoculars - so feel like an expert already! My wife came along - she knows quite a bit of our furry friends. Highlights of the day were two Eurasian Kestrels perched on one of the old snags in the middle of the wetlands area. We've got great pictures of them and I'm pretty sure of their identity.
