Reasonable activity but still every thing seems so LATE compared to previous years (based on notes). After a lot of flogging about we tallied a nice list but numbers and diversity are still 'way down. Species seen include: Myrtle Warbler (~80), Ovenbird (2), Blue-winged Warbler (2), Black-and-White Warbler (2), Black-throated Green (1), Palm Warbler (8, all yellow), Parula (1), Worm-eating Warbler (1 heard at ridge, on territory? third time heard/seen in a week), Yellowthroat (1), White-eyed Vireo (1), Blue-headed Vireo (1), Yellow-throated Vireo (1), Red-eyed Vireo (3), Hermit Thrush (5), Wood Thrush (yea!) (5), Eastern Kingbird (1), B-G Gnatcatcher (15), Ruby-crowned Kinglet (12), Broadwing Hawk (1), Common Loon (3 overhead heading due north!).
