However, I do not think he proves the case for Sunday hunting. Hunters can blast away at the deer for six days and I do not believe that adding the seventh will significantly remove that many more deer. I say give the hunters their six days and on the seventh we bird. In fact I totally advocate that you take a hunter with you as you bird on Sunday. It could change his/her life. It might even put an end to the old saw we always hear from hunters that it 'gives me a reason to be out in the woods'. Maybe we can show them a better reason. So let it come to pass that Sunday henceforth become Take a Hunter Birding Day. It works for me. Let's just stop blasting Bambi's parents on Sunday when we already have six days for it.
