MD MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit On Sat April 26, 3 Great Egrets were standing in the treetop Great Blue Heron colony that is on an island in the Potomac River, about one-third mile downstream from the Rt. 340 bridge, Washington County. (Between Sandy Hook and Weverton, Delorme p54 B2.5) One bird was standing on a nest, but of course it could have been an unused Great Blue Heron nest.
