Birds were singing everywhere and it was fun to get confused over warbler calls I haven't heard in nine months. Had as many as 500 or more warblers, most being of the Yellow-rumped variety. Cricket Frogs were plentiful, and easy to catch, along with a Leopard Frog. Sightings are roughly as follows: Wild Turkey 1+ Ruby-throated Hummingbird 2 Yellow-throated Vireo 2 Blue-headed Vireo 8 White-eyed Vireo 4-5 Prothonotary Warbler 3 Prarie Warbler 2 Pine Warbler 6 Palm Warbler 4-5 Yellow Warbler 2 Ovenbird 20ish Redstart 3 Parula 25-30 Black-n-White Warbler 10 Blue Grosbeak 1 _________________________________________________________________ Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
