A PROTHONOTARY WARBLER was busy gathering nesting material and placing the material in the first nest box in the pond. Further upstream along the towpath another Prothonotary was heard in the area around one of the other nest boxes. Also seen was a LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH upriver near where the first stream enters the Potomac. Also heard was a YELLOW-THROATED VIREO AND PARULA WARBLERS. A CASPIAN and several FORSTER'S TERNS were flying over the river and sitting on a log. Happy birding, Dan Eberly Bethesda, MD _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses.
