Had an adult male Orchard Oriole there. The fairly new large pond there, on the side of the entrance road, was full of sandpipers, including alot of Pectorals. Besides having a flat tire at Pickering, everything went well! We are training together for the World Series of Birding in Cape May, in May, in which our team will be participating as the ABA Maryland Harriers. Pledges welcome. -Jim Wilson, Queen Annes County, Youth Birder Total list includes: Great Blue Heron- 3 Mute Swan- 3 Turkey Vulture Bald Eagle- 1 Lesser Yellowlegs Greater Yellowlegs Pectoral Sandpiper- Above 50 Least Sandpiper Dunlin Killdeer Bonapartes Gulls -5 Downy Woodpecker Red-bellied Woodpecker Northern Flicker Great- Crested Flycatcher -1 Blue Jays American Crow Tree Swallows Rough-winged Swallow Tufted Titmouse Carolina Chickadee Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Eastern Bluebird American Robin Starlings Black-and-White Warbler Pine Warbler Yellow-rumped Warbler White-throated Sparrow Northern Cardinal Red-winged Blackbird Common Grackle Orchard Oriole American Goldfinch ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
