Out of 51 species the highlights were our first BOBOLINKS for the spring. Both species of YELLOWLEGS, SPOTTED and SOLITARY sandpipers. Both species of TEAL and WOOD DUCKS. WARBLING VIREO, KINGBIRD and BALTIMORE ORIOLES. YELLOW, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT and NORTHERN PARULAS all on territory. A flyover PEREGRINE FALCON was exciting. 20 COMMON LOONS (specks) were hard to pick out against the clear blue.
