The best was a singing Cerulean Warbler near the river where the white trail from the rapids area meets the purple trail (a little up the purple trail). I finally got a good look after circling it for about 45 minutes. The full arrival list there for me was: Acadian Flycatcher Pewee Cerulean Warbler Indigo Bunting Returning residents like Parula and B&W Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, Y-t Vireo were abundant, but there were no transient species other than Myrtle Warbler. A Broad-winged Hawk was calling for much of an hour around the Tall Poplar Trail. I saw it fleetingly in the trees. Might be settling in for the summer?
