When I returned home, went out into a horse pasture to check on birds in = nearby mature trees: myrtle, blackpoll, chestnut-sided, and worm-eating w= arblers, lots of robins and house sparrows, grackles, cowbirds, and an im= mature red-shouldered hawk that playfully looked about in the grass and f= rom a low branch; not alarming any other bird in the slightest and not a = single bit interested in my birding the field.
