An incredible sight!! A MEADOWLARK is hanging on in my atlas territory and is now countable! GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS singing in earnest now there is some competition between them. SAVANNAH SPARROWS still in fairly good numbers but I think the main push is past. The HORNED LARKS have really hidden their young- we can find adults but no babies. I'd love to see one of those little spotted fellows. A NORTHERN HARRIER was a pleasant surprise and year bird for some. Both species of ORIOLES singing like mad, nesting behavior is very evident. INDIGO BUNTINGS also carrying nesting material. Lots of confirmations out there already!
