An hour of birding before work this morning yielded a few warblers. Common Yellowthroat American Redstart Yellow-rumped Black and White Northern Parula Ovenbird Yellow Chestnut-sided Blackpoll Black-throated Blue Black-throated Green Tennessee The Tennessee was the last bird I saw and heard before having to leave the woods. In the area where I first heard the bird, I also saw two Yellow-crowned Night-herons perched by the flimsiest looking nest I have ever seen. I wish them luck.
