Never got a good look at the breast. Can anyone tell me which it was most likely to be based on date and location? After I posted this morning, Arlene Ripley said that she had found the bird in the same spot yesterday but had gotten sidetracked and didn't have a chance to post a message about it. At lunch, there were Field, Grasshopper, Savannah Sparrows, and the Lincoln's Sparrow as well as Bobolinks all in the same field. This seems to really be the year for Bobolinks in Calvert!
