On Saturday in late morning, i was AMAZED to watch a Wild Turkey (hen)
stroll across my front yard (near Burkittsville in S-FRED CO)! My house was
built in 1978 and is in a sparsely grouped "development" with a number of
surrounding farms and some interspersed woodland. South mountain is appx 2
miles away as the turkey flies (?) and although i have seen them on the
mountain before, never in my wildest imagination did i ever expect to see
one in the yard.

On SUN i was visited by my first observed Gray Catbird.
