Strong winds kept birds at eye level or hidden. I only saw five warblers in 30 minutes, but all were different species. Magnolia, B & W and Yellow-rumped at the DC War Memorial, along with a Brown Thrasher. At the Vietnam Memorial nurses statue a Parula and a male Wilsons. The lake at Constitution Gardens has been partially drained, creating dry mud flats. None this afternoon, but it could be a shorebird stopover area.
