I searched over half of a day at the "last" two locations where the birds were known to be. After going from one place to the other, I was almost ready to give up when as I was heading towards the park for one last check, two birds flew right by me showing their white wing patches. I never did find where they landed ... so, that was it. BTW, one of my main reasons for heading to the pacific northwest that time was to take two back-to-back pelagic trips out of Westport, WA. Both trips were weathered out, but the strong winds blew in Fork-tailed Storm-Petrels, so I got one of my targets from the jetty at Westport and subsequently saw more many more in Puget Sound.
