Dropped by Font Hill at 4pm and had no trouble seeing the COMMON MOORHEN. I proceeded to Middle Patuxent and was not dissapointed. Had great looks at two GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH, one at marker #15 and the other just past #13. I am now 100% sure the thrush I saw last week at #15 was indeed a BICKNELL'S THRUSH after being able to really look over the Gray-checked at length. Not much in the way of warblers although a CANADA WARBLER by marker #13 was nice. Saw about 25 thrush along the river, mostly SWANSON'S THRUSH and 8 VEERY. A LEAST FLYCATCHER was kind enough to put on a little show, and called several times. Also had my first SOLITARY SANDPIPER for the season.
