He reports the following highlights amongst his = sightings: Waterfowl - still seven species present, including Blue-winged Teal = (1), Surf Scoter (11), White-winged Scoter (2), Black Scoter (1), = Long-tailed Duck (1), Shorebirds - total of thirteen species including American = Oystercatcher (2), Purple Sandpiper (8), Dunlin (269), Ruddy Turnstones = (4), Sanderlings (44), Willet (3), Semipalmated Plover (44), Lesser = Yellowlegs (94), Spotted Sandpiper (12), Semipalmated Sandpiper (284), Terns - total of five species seen - Forster's, Common, Least, = Royal, and one Sandwich Tern. Others - still four Common Loons, DC Cormorants (751), Herring Gulls = (463), and Snowy Egrets (5).
