Blvd. today. A few Red-winged Blackbirds around the pond; Barn Swallows swooping; have not yet started their Building 6116 garage nests. Two Red-shoulders made an incredible racket, giving as good as they got to a very loud aggressive crow and a much less vocal Blue Jay. Red-shouldered Hawks built a nest in the woods last year; but no nest-sitting was ever observed. Black-throated Blue and Blackpoll warblers heard. Very hard to go back inside . . .
