Just sat down to read email when I heard an odd song
outside --  like "chip, witchety, witch" -- so I
opened the window and pished.  After a dead silence a
Carolina Wren appeared.  Pished again. In a few
moments a lovely Canada Warbler appeared on a branch 5
feet away, and sang again.  Glad I didn't dismiss it
as an aberrant yellowthroat!!!
