If we do get a break in the weather, with warm southerly winds, we might well see another final push. Certainly it doesn't seem as if all the thrushes and flycatchers can have gone through already. If so, numbers were rather low. Birds seen and heard: Warblers: Blackburnian (2, one stunning male), Blackpoll (~12), Black-throated Blue (2), Black-throated Green (1), Chestnut-sided (3), Magnolia (6), Myrtle (~10 -- STILL here!), Ovenbird (4), Parula (3), Redstart (3), Tennessee (1), Yellowthroat (2). Others: Rose-breasted Grosbeak (1), Scarlet tanager (4), Gray-cheeked Thrush (3), Swainson's Thrush (1), Red-eyed Vireo (15), Yellow-billed Cuckoo (1).
