But what about a record Big Black Day? Anybody ever beat this? Black-crowned Night -Heron Black Vulture Am Black Duck Black-bellied Plover Black-necked Stilt Greater Black-backed Gull Black Tern Black Skimmer Black-billed Cuckoo Black-throated Blue Warbler Black-throated Green Warbler Blackburnian Warbler (OK, maybe not) Blackpoll Warbler Black-and-white Warbler Red-winged Blackbird Possibles missed- Black Scoter Black Rail Lesser Black-headed Gull Black-capped Chickadee Black-legged Kittiwake Rusty Blackbird Other wildly possible- Black-bellied Whistling-Duck Black-headed Gull Black-throated Gray Warbler, etc If I would have thought of it, I might have chased Black Rail instead of Owls that night. Also, if you eliminate Red-necked Stint and Red-cockaded WP, 7 of 14 "RED" birds, 6 of 8 "BLUE" and 2 of 3 "GREEN".
