MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Gerry -- I oppose harvesting horseshoe crabs. I oppose harvesting old-growth forest. too many hunters are crude rubes & a few are careless & hence actively dangerous. some birders are also crude rubes. and some guy with a 10th grade education, $11 in his pocket, & a couple of kids to feed is frightened at his prospects in the world, and feeling helpless lashes out at the symbols of what he cannot be. Tom Dunne said well what I sought to say in our off-line conversations. many of us live in a world of complex problems, complex people, & many shades of grey. jck Gerald & Laura Tarbell wrote: > Gerry -- back from several trips. but gotta say reading all this, why >don't you just buy a gun & shoot the bastards? you have the same 'I know >Truth" mentality they do, but you have the education & money, but sadly not >the wisdom. jck > >OK, Chris you've shot your mouth off again.
