Up until last year, I could count on finding them in certain areas along the Susquehanna River, but they were almost always up on the hillsides. Last year and especially this year, I am finding them in more areas, not only on the hillsides, but down along the streams also. In my May Count area along Deer Creek several miles upstream from the mouth they were quite common this year. I have been counting this area for about 15 years and rarely had them there until last year. This morning I led a field trip along Deer Creek from the mouth up to the picnic area of Susquehanna State Park and we were hearing and seeing Ceruleans almost all the time. Has anyone else noticed this increase or am I just lucky?
