Atlasing in the Towson area Sun & Mon gave 6-8 each, redstarts and blackpoll. We also had a black and white, blackburnian, black-throated blue female, 3 magnolia, 3 chestnut-sided, a parula and both waterthrushes. I think some or all of the Redstarts were migrants. I did not see/hear any male Redstarts, or even Orangestarts. > > Wednesday: Robert E. Lee Park (Lake Roland), Pine Barrens. 1 Bay-Breasted (female), about 25 Blackpolls. About half the Blackpolls were female, and a few had pale yellow on the face, neck and breast. This made me think of female Cape May, but Dunn and Garrett's warbler book shows yellowish birds as a possible variant of spring female Blackpoll. > > Peter Lev > Baltimore Bird Club > > ======================================================================= > To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com > with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey > ======================================================================= ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
