Guris" Subject: June 7 Lewes Pelagic Looking Very Calm MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 We still have spaces for the June 7 pelagic out of Lewes, DE and the seas are predicted to be quite calm (for as much as you can trust weather forecasts). Winds are forecast to be light and seas 3' or less. We'll be looking for storm-petrels (Wilson's and Leach's), shearwaters (Greater, Sooty, Cory's, and Manx), jaegers (all 3), South Polar Skua, terns, phalaropes, etc. as well as whales and dolphins. We'll be on the 85' Thelma Dale IV, a great boat with a full walk-around, nice speed, an upper deck, and a full cabin. If you are interested, please contact us. The basic information is: Date: Saturday, June 7 Leaves: Fisherman's Wharf, Lewes, DE Time: 6:00 AM - about 6:00 PM Cost: $110 If you care to take a look, the offshore forecast (we'll be targetting Baltimore Canyon) can be found at: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/marine/zone/wrdoffmz.htm The inshore forecasts can be found at: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/marine/zone/east/phimz.htm http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/marine/zone/east/akqmz.htm -Paul -- Paul A.
