The CHATS stayed hidden until after the last birder had gone - then I found five (Elise, you gotta believe me). Highlights included great looks at PINE WARBLERS, PRAIRIE WARBLERS, Great-crested Flycatchers, Indigo bunting, Cedar Waxwings and a very odd fellow in a cape. We also heard from HOODED WARBLERS, OVENBIRDS, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, and Wood Thrush. Thank you to all who came and shared their knowledge of the fungi, plants, invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians, and, and, ...oh yeah! the birds.
