It was looking either sleepy or sick, depending on your glass half full/half empty outlook on life. Other birds about included Eastern Kingbirds flying around the same portion of the Tidal Basin, a Baltimore Oriole singing from the elms north of the FDR Memorial, a family of fledged catbirds chasing a parent at the DC Veteran's Memorial, where there were also a couple of Great Crested Flycatchers and a Brown Thrasher.
