I worked entirely from roads and neighborhoods and was amazed at the number of species I found. I was delighted to find a pair of PEWEES nestbuilding. Fledgling ACADIAN FLYCATCHERS also. A HOODED WARBLER in a backyard was the first for my block. I have now found 87 species in my block, 50 confirmed and have "closed out" 26 species in all 4 quarterblocks. Had an OSPREY yesterday working in an adjoining block. A pair of KENTUCKY WARBLERS feeding young and an adorable fledgling WOOD THRUSH.
