Henslow's MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit After four year of frustration I finally nailed my life Henslow's Sparrow on 6/22, thanks in large part to Stan Arnold's posting of 6/16. The sparrow is still where he described it and it sang continually as I watched it through my scope for over ten minutes. About a quarter mile down Pea Ridge Rd., it was about 40 yards back from the road, perched atop a weed patch in the grassy field. It stopped singing occasionally to flit up to grab a seed and then settled down to sing some more.
