Neither one of us spotted the Reddish Egret this morning between c. 9:15 am and c. 12:30 pm. We checked Skimmer Island from Hoopers several times, as well as from Third Street in OC. Also we looked in the Golf Course Road and Keyser Point Road areas and I took a brief trip down to the bridge to Assateague Island. At Skimmer Island were many Black Skimmers and Royal Terns, too many gulls, Common and two Least Terns, one immature Brown Pelican, Willet, Am. Oystercatcher, two Rock Doves, Mallard, and a Canada Goose seemingly paired with a domestic Anser goose. Nice to finally be outdoors in warm sunny weather. Now I'm back at the office for a three-hour stint.
