Aside from the usual stuff I was able to make a couple of notes for one of my atlas blocks. The first was a singing Acadian Flycatcher (new bird for my marina list). The second was a flyby Northern Harrier. I was VERY surprised to see this bird. Carpernter's Point Neck is a rather large penisula that seperates the North East River and the Chesapeake Bay on the western side. It is nearly 100% forested. with few fields. The harrier was juvenile flying straight to the north. Could this have been a late migrant? At any rate it is nice to have it in my atlas block even if it is just an "O".
