McHenry Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed MD Osprey: The Western Kingbird was at Ft. McHenry today (6/26) at 3 pm, before the front moved through. One of the rangers told me she also saw the bird yesterday (6/25) at 3:30 pm. Today (and yesterday afternoon) the bird was in or near the large tree that sits right next to the split rail fence, between the visitor's center and fort, itself. From the visitor's center, walk the paved path toward the fort, where the path bends left at the fence, the tree will be right in front of you. I think the bird was in the tree for the first few minutes of looking, then it flew out and perched on the fence to the right of the tree several times and performed aerial flycatching to the right of and behind the tree. It was very cooperative and gave great looks. Good luck.
